Absolutely fantastic experience at Cantina dello Zio. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere was buzzing – a proper authentic Italian street setting with a great vibe. The food was outstanding. The seafood pasta was fresh and full of flavour, and the bruschetta was simple but done perfectly – exactly how it should be. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and know what they’re doing in the kitchen. Service was just as impressive – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being over the top. It felt like real hospitality rather than just service. If you’re looking for great food, warm hospitality, and that classic Italian charm, this place absolutely delivers. Would 100% return.
Very nice place! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. He had a pizza and I had the orecchiette pasta, and honestly it was amazing – one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. At the end they even gave us a complimentary shot, which made the experience even better. We would definitely come back!
The service was so polite and even gave us an appetizer on the house! We tried orecchiette with burrata and the portion was big and we were really hungry before. The waitress was kind enough to ask us if everything was alright and gave amazing service. We waited in line for about 20 minutes but it was totally worth it. Would recommend this place any time.
We really enjoyed this place! The food there was delicious, while we were waiting for our food they served us complimentary olives and tarallis and after the dinner- shot of limoncello! The server was amazing, very friendly and outstanding, he even knew some Bulgarian words which was impressing, honestly!:D We loved it here! The only negative is probably the waiting line, I would suggest to go a bit earlier , maybe you won’t have to wait that long, but overall the waiting was worth it!
If you are visiting Bari, you must dine here. Their service is absolutely the best and the food they serve even makes the experience better. It’s a family owned business with great wines and limoncello made by them. You can only praise this place!
This is was our final dinner in Bari and sadly we had eaten too much over the day, so we couldn't try much from the menu. But whatever we tried was absolutely delicious and the portions were huge! The service was outstanding and it definitely stood out among everything else that we visited over the week. I don't know the name of our service guy, but he made us feel at home! He even spoke a bit from our native language, which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend going to this place - it is not fancy, nor expensive, but you will feel great after it!
We had the best experience ever in Bari at this place. Starting with Mauricio, the host, who waited for us throughout the whole night and even spoke a few words in Albanian — our native language. We also had the pleasure of meeting Urime, our fellow Albanian, and Mauricio’s mom. They made us feel incredibly welcome, and the whole atmosphere was warm and cozy. The hospitality was truly 1000/10. As for the food and drinks, we had white wine, orecchiette carbonara&frutti di mare, and tiramisu, everything was absolutely amazing, easily 100/10. We would recommend this place 1000%. If we ever come back to Bari, this is definitely the place we’ll return to
We had a wonderful experience here. The food was absolutely exceptional — fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious. The service was very attentive, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They treated us with so much kindness, which made the whole experience even more special. As a lovely gesture, we were even offered a shot of limoncello from the house at the end. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place.
